Crane Operator​

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Unload inbound shipments and store in inventory in a neat, organized and safe manner.

Load outbound shipments correctly and efficiently.
-
Keep working areas free of trash, debris and obstacles.
-
Be responsible for the safe operation of the crane.

Be alert of warehouse conditions and personnel in area at all times

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
-
Ability to read and write to understand shipping documents, company policies and work rules.

Understanding of simple fractions.
-
Ability to read tape measure and make simple fractional calculations.
-
Ability to climb on/off trucks during loading and unloading.
-
Ability to stay on feet for entire shift.
-
Ability to bend and stoop when necessary.
-
Ability to lift, pull and push steel when necessary.
-
Work often requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
